New Visa Process in Tanzania

Image
NEW VISA PROCESS IN TANZANIA Please be aware that with immediate effect Kilimanjaro airport has changed the process of issuing visas on arrival. Clients arriving in Kilimanjaro without a visa now need to complete the following process: •   Queue for a Government Control Number •   Queue to pay for this at the bank •   Queue for Immigration to check and issue the visa We would really appreciate your help in letting your guests know about this change, and strongly recommending that those that still have time before they travel apply for their Tanzania visa online at www.immigration.go.tz . The online process asks for more information than a visa on arrival, and are issued within 2 - 3 weeks. The changes at Kilimanjaro has meant that the visa on arrival process can take in excess of two hours, and we’d really prefer that your guests did not have to go through that. We’ve been reassured that measures are being put

Ansell takes pride in operating the largest ground tourist handling company for Mount Kilimanjaro climbing expeditions, and operating a chain of tourist hotels and lodges. She did not set out to be a tour operator. Her childhood dream was to work as cabin crew for Tanzania’s national airline, Air Tanzania Corporation. “I had a sense of adventure and wanted to explore the world, to learn and share about the world’s diversity,” Ansell says, adding, “My dream came true when I was recruited by ATC. My father was not happy with my career choice but was impressed when later I was promoted to reservations and sales officer, a job I did for eight years.” She was born in Hedaru in Kilimanjaro region in a family of 12 siblings.   Isirwa pre school gets a new classroom!!! After working in close partnership with the local community, education ministries and contractors we are pleased to bring you the news that children at the Ngorongoro are now enjoying learning in a new school building. With the completion of this building, more students can now be enrolled and enjoy their lessons in a safe and secure environment. For the Maasai children, the Ngorongoro pre-school offers hope for an education. For so long the right to basic education in this marginalized community has been a far fetched dream. Some children do not live close enough to school to attend while others are too poor to afford it. The opening of Ngorongoro pre-school affords the opportunity of quality education to a new generation of Maasai children.
