Help Build a Training Center, Transform Women's Lives

In Moshi, a small town nestled at the foot of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, many women live in precarious conditionsA lack of access to professional training, often due to financial hardship, prevents them from acquiring the skills they need to secure stable employment and support their families.

Yet these women have immense potential. They are determined, resilient, and deeply motivated to learn and grow.

Zara Charity Tanzania is launching a vital initiative: the creation of a professional training center for women in vulnerable situations.

This center will offer practical, tailored training programs in areas such as clothing design, jewelry making, and soap production.

Mothers of children enrolled at the Moshi Kids Centre—the school founded by Zara Charity Tanzania in 2022—will be invited to participate in these training sessions. The goal is to give them the tools to find stable employmentmeet their children’s needs, and build a better future.

Our team will also go directly around the city to reach out to women in need and invite them to join the program. This proactive approach ensures that the support is directed to those who need it most.

Once selected, participants will benefit from 3 to 6 months of hands-on training, delivered by experienced local professionals. The entire program will be fully funded by the NGO, so that each woman can focus entirely on her learning, free from financial barriers.

At the end of the program, each participant will receive startup capital to launch her own small business or will be supported in finding employment.

The Plan in Motion

Our journey began with a dedicated architect who accurately designed the centre and prepared a detailed cost list.
