Celebrating International Women’s Day with Zara Tanzania Adventures.

At Zara Tanzania Adventures, we take pride in celebrating the strength, resilience, and achievements of women. Under the leadership of Mrs. Zainab Ansell, the owner and director of Zara Tanzania Adventures and Tanzania Wild Camps, as well as the founder of Zara Tanzania Charity, which is committed in supporting and uplifting the community of Kilimanjaro region.

On this special occasion of International Women’s Day, we extend our warmest wishes to all women in Tanzania and beyond. We also take this moment to appreciate the efforts of our President, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, who has played a significant role in the growth of the tourism sector and in empowering women across the country.

To mark this important day, the women of Zara Tanzania Adventures took an initiative to support young girls in local schools. We visited Kaloleni Primary School, Msasani Secondary School, and Bomambuzi Secondary School, where we provided both reusable and disposable sanitary pads. This contribution is part of our ongoing commitment to empowering young girls by ensuring they have access to essential hygiene products, which can significantly impact their confidence and school attendance.

Beyond just providing sanitary pads, our team engaged with the students, encouraging them to pursue their dreams with confidence. We shared messages of inspiration, emphasizing the importance of education, self-belief, and perseverance. Our visit was a reminder that empowered women can uplift and inspire others to achieve greatness.

At Zara Tanzania Adventures, we are more than just a leading tour company—we are a beacon of empowerment. Our organization has been instrumental in creating training and employment opportunities for women, ensuring that they thrive in various roles such as accountants, reservation officers, marketers, housekeepers, chefs, safari drivers, and even mountain guides leading treks on Mount Kilimanjaro.

Our message on this International Women’s Day is clear: “Empowered women empower others”. By giving back to the community and supporting young girls, we are working towards a future where every girl has the resources and encouragement needed to succeed.

Happy International Women’s Day from the strong, dedicated, and compassionate women of Zara Tanzania Adventures!
