As we enter another rainy season, our focus remains on strengthening health training efforts. This year, 500 porters will undergo training, with an emphasis on improving First Aid techniques, early detection of health risks, and overall physical well-being. With unpredictable weather conditions, it is crucial to equip porters with essential gear, such as water-resistant clothing, gloves, and sleeping bags, as required by MKPS guidelines. Additionally, we will emphasize the importance of proper nutrition by ensuring that porters receive three meals daily while on treks. By improving these conditions, we aim to enhance the quality of medical assistance provided on the mountain, ensuring that every porter has the knowledge and tools to stay safe.
