ZARA Tours and the Tanzania's Tourism Envoy in the US promise to bring more tourist groups in the country




AFTER coming back from Serengeti National Park (SENAPA) to witness the visibility of Lunar Eclipse, the Tanzania’s Goodwill Ambassador for tourism in the US who was selected by the Tanzania Tourist Board (TTB), Macon Dunnagan, and his group promises to bring more tourist groups in the various country’s tourism destinations.
Speaking in exclusive interviews after his 44th Mt. Kilimanjaro Climb and visiting Serengeti National Park in a safari and expedition organized by ZARA Tours, Dunnagan explained that, Tanzania has many unpromoted tourism destinations, and he is going to promote them in the upcoming Travel Shows in Chicago and New York for sustainable tourism
The tourism Envoy in the US who engaged his wife Kim Brown Dunnagan at the Serengeti National Park (SENAPA) three years before celebrating their engagement by climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro through the Rongai route in a special expedition organized by ZARA Tours, though his wife did not manage to make it to the top.
Macon who climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro with ZARA Tours for more than 40 years, usually comes to Tanzania every year two or three times with a group of tourists to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro and visit some tourism destinations Tanzania with his group including Serengeti National Park (SENAPA) for fun.
 “This year I had my 44th climbs since I started climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro to the highest peak-Uhuru peak (5,895m ASL) several years ago before I wrote my book on the Majesty of Mt. Kilimanjaro Titled ‘Son of Mt. Kilimanjaro.” he further explained.
He further explained that, “As I have told you before, I have climb Mt. Kilimanjaro 44 times now and along with the verifiable record of climbing Kilimanjaro 4 times in 28 days just three weeks ago; and from Monday of July 2, 2018, and I started taking my first group to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro in different four summits in only 21 days, and I enjoy helping nonprofits plan and implement Kilimanjaro climb fundraisers..”
According to Dunnagan, he has helped organizations and clubs like Rotary “End Polio Now” and Ovarian Cancer Canada to plan for Kilimanjaro Fundraising climbs.
“This year, I had four groups including a charitable organization called Samaritan’s Feet which raises funds to buy shoes for the needy people Worldwide, a group of students from Cannon School in Charlotte, North Carolina in US who climb Mt. Kilimanjaro to learn more about it, as well visiting Serengeti National Park for that cause, and a group of Rotarians from 7680 Charlotte Club who will climb Mt. Kilimanjaro to raise funds fro the Rotary “End Polio Now” initiative....” he further explained.
Dunnagan, who once wrote a book on Mt. Kilimanjaro’s majesty called ‘The Sons of Kilimanjaro’ further explained that, he will release his other two books explains the majesty of the various tourism destinations in Tanzania including Serengeti and Tarangire national parks, as well as Ngorongoro  Crater for sustainable tourism.
“In January next year I will Travel Shows Chicago and New York to promote Tanzania’s tourism destinations, and I need to have crucial talks with the Kilimanjaro National Parks (KINAPA) and the Tanzania National Parks (TANAPA) authorities to see we can collide in my mission...” the Goodwill Ambasador in US elucidated.
