An experienced tour operator in the region Zainab Ansell is eyeing prospects of hosting Formula E on the foothills of Mt Kilimanjaro. Ms. Ansell who is the owner and director of Zara Tours, a renowned tour operating company in the countries northern circuit exuded confidence that the sport can become the latest tourism product as the country fancies five million tourists and collects $6 billion by 2025. This is quite an interesting sport, we will be more than ready should a chance present itself, said Ms. Ansell here recently, during a European Investors in Tourism Dialogue here. The tour operator noted that Tourism was hardly hit by COVID 19 Pandemic and that it was important to explore other products as the sector recovers from the deadly virus.
