ZARA TOURS ANNOUNCES PURCHASE OF NEW EQUIPMENT

Equipment to benefit tourists, employees, Tanzanian government

Tanzania, Africa – Zara Tours, Tanzania’s leading provider of Mt. Kilimanjaro tours, announced the purchase of a wide variety of new equipment to enhance the guest (tourist) experience, as well as maintain Zara Tours’ tradition of safety. Tents, sleeping bags and pads, porter’s bags and other essential climbing equipment were among the items recently purchased.

These items are difficult to acquire in the area because of limited quality outlets and high shipping costs, but Zara Tours believes the effort and expense it took to do so will be more than worthwhile, as it has improved the comfort and safety of treks up Mt. Kilimanjaro. Each Mt. Kilimanjaro tour generates commerce for the national park and the government, stimulating the economy as a whole.

Zainab Ansell, owner of Zara Tours, said, “We’re honored to provide specialized Kilimanjaro tours, and new equipment provides our guests with an exceptional experience, not to mention their safety is ensured both ascending and descending the mountain.”

Zara Tours is also proud to announce a recent salary increase for porters and tour guides – increases above those being proposed by the government. It is the fervent hope of Zara Tours to both reward these dedicated staff members and, by extension, stimulate the local economy by giving employees greater purchasing power.

Later this year, on April 25, 2014, Zara Tours will be hosting a Mt. Kilimanjaro clean-up effort as a further measure to show support for the community and preserve this national treasure. Danish Lady Breaks a Record After Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro for 5hrs and 52 minutes with Zara Tours

DANISH national Ms. Kristina Schou Madsen (32) has become the first female to spend only 6 hours and 52 minutes for a climb and return trip to from the highest peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro-Uhuru Peak (5,895m ASL). Speaking with this paper in an exclusive interviews here yesterday after her ascend from the ‘Roof of Africa, Madsen explained that she decided to have such a unique expedition dubbed “Speedy Climb’ for the cause, just soon after coming back from the highest peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro (Uhuru peak) in her 7-days expedition through Machame route. “Me and fellow trekkers had first 7-days Mt.
