Courtesy Call with Jakaya Kikwete, the former President of the United Republic of Tanzania

I meet the former President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Hon. Dr. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, for a courtesy call at the Gran Melia Hotel in Arusha. He was President from December 21, 2005 to November 5, 2015.

I offered him tourist handmade bags to thank him for his welcome, as the Tanzanian culture requires. It was a real pleasure to exchange with him. Indeed, we are both strongly involved and impacted by the lives of Tanzanian people. Thanks to Zara Charity, Zara Tours helps especially children, Maasai women and porters to have a more comfortable life.
