ZARA TOURS PARTICIPATED IN CLEANING MOUNT KILIMANJARO 2016.

This April the Regional Commissioner of Kilimanjaro Said Meck Sadick launched the clean up campaign for Mount Kilimanjaro. The campaign was entitled "leave the mountain clean, conserve the environment so that it can protect you".

Mount Kilimanjaro is the tallest mountain in Africa.
He emphasized that all tour companies in Tanzania should focus on providing quality services and practice sustainable tourism. In doing so the mountain will be protected from land degradation, loss of biodiversity and litters which pollutes the mountain.

Adhering to that Zara Tours the number one Kilimanjaro outfitter and largest safari operator in Tanzania participated in cleaning the mountain, where by  Zara staff and Zara clients went up on the mountain for 10 days to clean the mountain for future and sustainable use.

 Mount Kilimanjaro is the leading tourism destination in Tanzania, it contributes 25% of foreign exchange in the country. It is the responsibility of all the Tanzanians and all the tourist to ensure that the Mountain is clean and to conserve it for coming generations.
